Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am delighted that your child is in my class this year. I am looking forward to many exciting and rewarding experiences as the year progresses.
Fifth graders developed Class Community Rules and Expectations that will give each student the opportunity to manage his or her behavior. Your child deserves the most positive educational environment possible for growth. Therefore, these expectations will be in effect at all times.
5 – 315 Class Community Rules & Expectations
7. Be respectful to yourself, teachers, and peers.
8. Be responsible. Do your work and what needs to be done.
9. ALWAYS try your best!
To encourage students to follow our rules more, we reinforce appropriate behavior with positive praise, the Class Dojo system, class parties, and rewards. Our rewards include individual and whole class rewards.
We will continue to review, discuss, and reinforce the expectations with the students. I will be communicating with you frequently throughout the year to keep you informed of your child’s progress. Please feel free to write me a note with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Ms. Wong
